WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – Sunday will be a big travel day, and the weather won’t be too bad. Snow showers are possible through the first part of the day in parts of the region, while lake effect snow will get underway in the far north, including Vilas County, starting midday and continuing right through Monday evening. The next snow maker will be an Alberta Clipper that brings snow showers to parts of the region Tuesday night into Wednesday, also ushering in a blast of colder air for the second half of the week.
