WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – Light snow showers are possible for the rest of Monday. Snowfall amounts will be around a dusting for Hwy 29, and Hwy 10. Wind gusts around 30 mph will also cause some blowing and drifting of snow. Snowfall amounts around 1″ are possible, mainly north of Hwy 8.
Tuesday will feature upper-20s and low-30s for highs. It will also feature another chance for snow. This time around, it’s mainly limited to communities north of Highway 29. An Alberta Clipper is expected to “clip” our area while the heaviest snow stays off to our east. As much as a couple inches of snow will be possible, but it’s not a guarantee. Tuesday will also feature very gusty winds.
