A fun new weekend event is coming to Mississauga.
After years of bringing its annual halal food festival to cities across Ontario, Night Market Toronto is planning a new event.
The Night Market Toronto food tour — once spanning six to eight cities and drawing tens of thousands —has been officially dissolved, organizers said in a press release.
In its place, the first-ever Canadian Halal Exhibition (CHE) is planned for Mississauga on June 14 and 15.
Attendees can expect over 20 halal food vendors outdoors, eight amusement rides, over 40 marketplace vendors, a children’s area, and an outdoor stage with program performances on the hour.
Organizers expect over 20,000 attendees across the two-day weekend.
