CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Five people have been charged by an Ontario County Grand Jury in connection to the death of a 24-year-old transgender man in Canandaigua.
Sam Nordquist was reported missing Feb. 9 in Canandaigua before New York State Police confirmed that Nordquist has been found dead.
Five people — Precious Arzuaga, 38, and Patrick Goodwin, 30, of Canandaigua; Kyle Sage, 33, of Rochester; Jennifer ‘Brooklyn’ Quijano, 30, of Geneva; and Emily Motyka, 19, of Lima — have been indicted on at least one felony charge. They were arrested Thursday, Feb. 13 after police searched a motel room in Canandaigua, at the last place Nordquist was known to have stayed.
