Many Manitobans are thankful for the beautiful fall weather we have had this October and will continue to have heading into the Thanksgiving weekend. 

On this day, five years ago, a winter storm warning went in effect for the Southeast and parts of Manitoba were hit with 50 millimeters of rain, while other parts received up to 20 centimeters of snow. 

Niverville was one of the hardest hit communities in the province and Mayor Myron Dyck recalls what that day looked like for the city.
