Fog advisory in effect for Windsor-Essex region [Video]

Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent are under fog advisory, according to Environment Canada.

Near zero visibility is present in some areas. It’s expected to dissipate mid-morning on Monday.

School buses were cancelled in Essex County for the morning, but will be running in the afternoon.

Drivers are reminded to slow down, watch for taillights and be prepared to stop.

Here’s a look at your weather forecast to start the week:

Monday: Cloudy. 40 per cent chance of drizzle, periods of rain beginning in the morning. Winds up to 40 km/h. High 10.

Monday night: Periods of rain ending in the evening, then mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers. Winds west up to 50 km/h. Low two.

Tuesday: Mainly cloudy. 30 per cent chance of showers in the morning. Wind southwest 30 km/h. High 5.

Tuesday night: Cloudy. Low zero.
