Fog weather warning for parts of central B.C. [Video]

Environment Canada is warning travellers in parts of central B.C. of dense fog that could hinder commutes Monday morning.

A fog advisory is in effect for northern Peace River, Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Quesnel, Nicola, Similkameen and the Stuart-Nechako region.

The fog will be dense and will create near-zero visibility in some areas until Monday afternoon, the weather agency said.

Travel is expected to be hazardous, and commuters should prepare to drive to the road conditions, it added.

If visibility is reduced while driving, commuters are advised to slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
