High pressure will continue to bring sunshine and warmer temperatures to Mid-Missouri today. Chances for storms return on Tuesday.

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday! High pressure will continue to dominate our upper level weather pattern today, continuing the warming trend. Temperatures are in the 60s as you start the second half of your weekend. That is right around average for the first day of June.

Sunday: We will continue our warming trend today as we reach a high of 85 degrees by 3 PM. High pressure will keep us mainly cloudless, but hazy throughout the afternoon. A few clouds and a stray pop-up shower can’t be ruled out after 3 PM due to diurnal heating. But similar to yesterday, most of us won’t see anything. A very summer-like day is ahead of us to celebrate the first day of meteorological summer.
