Forsyth County Courthouse approaching eCourts deadline [Video]

The Forsyth County Courthouse is about three months away from a big deadline. “eCourts” will launch for the county on July 21. This program provides the public online access to court records, but it’s proving to be a big task for courthouse staff to meet the summer deadline. Some have worried that the jury administration issues that plagued the courthouse last year would impact the county’s transition to eCourts. Forsyth County’s Clerk of Superior Court Denise Hines says getting to July 21 will certainly come with challenges.”It is absolutely my goal to meet the July 21 deadline,” said Hines. “Additional staff (is needed).”Hines says more staff is needed to help the Forsyth County Courthouse go from paper to digital.
