UPDATE: Halton police said in an update shortly after 7:30 p.m. that Jned had been found “and reunited with her family.”

Police are asking for help locating a missing girl last seen at a school in Milton.

The Halton Regional Police Service says Tala Jned, 12, was last seen around 4 p.m. on Thursday at Cedar Ridge Public School on Kennedy Circle West in Milton.

Investigators and the girl’s family are concerned for her well being and are asking anyone with information to contact police.

Jned is described as a 12-year-old Middle Eastern female who appears white. She stands around five-feet tall with a slime build, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing an olive coat, a red T-shirt, black shoes and a black backpack.
