Free e-scooter and bike rides are being offered for the Canadian election in a bid to get young voters out to the polls.

Lime announced Wednesday that voters can use the promo code “WECANVOTE” for two free 30-minute rides on Lime scooters / bikes to help them get to and from their polling location.

“Lime aims to boost voter participation efforts across the country while providing riders with sustainable transportation to and from polling locations on election day,” the company said in a news release.

The promo is being offered in all cities where Lime operates, the company said.

The campaign is in collaboration with the group Apathy is Boring, which aims to get youth more involved in Canada’s democracy.
