When Christopher Martins drove around his neighbourhood in the north end of Barrie on Sunday morning, he felt like he had “stepped into a war zone.” Decades-old trees were crushed by ice in nearly every yard, sheds and fences were damaged and branches littered the ground.

We know outages can be frustrating, especially for extended periods. We are using all available resources to get the power restored throughout our service area due to the recent ice storm that has caused so much damage. We appreciate your patience as we try to get updated ETRs.
