FRIDAY: Cold air has taken over this morning with lows below zero across our region. So not only may there still be slick roads in some areas, but you’ll want a heavy coat and gloves during the morning commute. Temperatures “only” reach the single digits by the afternoon, so it will still be chilly for the afternoon. Another Canadian low will also bring a few flakes and cloudy skies into our region, mostly in the westernmost parts of the Devils Lake Basin and James River Valley. Little accumulation is expected, however. Overall, expect a chilly end to the week.
