The Foothills Hospital Home Lottery kicked off Thursday with a spectacular home in a spectacular location.

The 4,800 square foot, three-bedroom lakefront home is in Harmony, west of Calgary.

You’ll get a mountain view from your primary suite, perhaps when you’re exercising in the gym and afterward, enjoy a soothing sauna.

Funds raised support research, treatment and care at Foothills Hospital in Calgary

It’s the most valuable grand prize in the lotto’s history.

The home is valued at $3.3 million, plus $100,000 cash.

“We really want to thank Calgarians for their ongoing support. We’re all so lucky because health care affects all of us,” said Murray Sigler,  president and CEO of the Calgary Health Foundation. “The proceeds from the lottery make a difference to everybody who lives in this community.”

Other prizes include cars and a condo in Canmore.

The grand prize draw will be made April 15.
