Grand River Transits holiday service begins [Video]

Grand River Transit (GRT) will operate on a holiday service schedule starting Monday.

Many GRT routes will be running on modified schedules from Dec. 23 to Jan. 5, with regular winter service resuming on Jan. 6.

Commuters can expect to see schedule adjustments to:

Route 201: Peak and midday service reduced to every 15 minutes.

Route 202: Peak service reduced to 15 minutes.

Route 21: Weekday and Sunday holiday service schedule in effect.

There are platform changes to Ainslie Street Terminal, where the Route 51B will attend stop 1511 and at Cambridge Centre Station where the Route 203 will attend stop 1065.

There are minor timing adjustments to routes 3, 4, 9, 16, 21, 30, 50, 62, 67 and 206.

On Christmas Eve, route 77 will operate on a regular weekday schedule. Pick-ups from flex stops that day will have to be booked before 11 a.m.
