Guardians, San Francisco Giants starting lineups: Game 87 [Video]

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Lefty Logan Allen has a tough task waiting for him Saturday afternoon. He has to find a way to give the Guardians a chance to beat the Giants.

San Francisco, an interleague invader, has won four straight games at Progressive Field. Overall, they’re 6-1 on the corner of Carnegie and Ontario following Friday’s 4-2 win over Tanner Bibee.

The Giants are 16-6 against Cleveland since the start of interleague play. This will be Allen’s second start against the Giants. He faced them in September at Oracle Park, throwing five no-decision innings in a 6-5 loss.

In Allen’s last start, he lasted just 4 1/3 innings in a 6-2 loss to the Royals on June 30. Allen, an eight-game winner, is 2-1 in his last four starts.
