Halifax Regional Police investigate robberies [Video]

Halifax Regional Police (HRP) are investigating a robbery at a gas station Wednesday night.

At approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to the robbery at the Circle K gas station at 2499 Robie Street. A man brandishing a knife entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes, said a news release from the municipality on Thursday.

The suspect left the store empty-handed and fled toward Charles Street. Nobody was injured.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s and approximately five-foot-eight with a thin build. He was wearing black clothing and a ski mask at the time of the incident.

Police responded to another robbery at Highfield Video and Variety located at 94 Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth at approximately 9:35 p.m. A man entered the store brandishing a knife and left with an undisclosed amount of cash said police. The suspect fled toward Joseph Young Street. Nobody …
