After five local events cracked the top 100 Ontario festivals list this year Oshawa Tourism is hoping to make it six in 2026 with some wicked fun planned for this October.

Oshawa Halloween Boo Bash – ‘Spirits Rise’ – is set to take over downtown Oshawa on Saturday, October 18 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., bringing a full day of thrills, chills, and community celebration to the heart of the city.

Transforming the downtown core into a haunted Halloween playground, this free family-friendly event will feature trick-or-treating at local businesses, a spooky outdoor vendor market, live music, outdoor movie screenings, scare zones and costume and pumpkin carving contests.
