Concerned about layoffs due to federal budget cuts, some Haskell Indian Nations University student-athletes have sent a letter to President Donald Trump requesting a meeting.The letter, dated Sunday from the cross-country and track and field team, states they are writing to “SAVE OUR HISTORIC SCHOOL, SAVE OUR EDUCATION, AND SAVE OUR FUTURE,” with those comments in all capital letters.“I know a lot of people are kind of freaking out about how this semester is going to play out. I know a lot of students are probably overwhelmed.
