CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – High pressure is in control for the start of the week!

Expect hazy skies thanks to Canadian wildfire smoke that will linger through mid-week.

Midweek forecast

Tuesday and Wednesday will start around 60-degrees and reach the mid to upper 80s by the afternoon.

Forecast dew points(WBTV)

By the end of the week, temperatures will be back into the upper 80s with humid conditions and an isolated shower or thunderstorm chance.

Weekend forecast

This weekend will be even hotter and more humid, with highs sitting around the 90-degree mark. There will also be a scattered storm chance in the forecast both days.
