Hazy start to the week [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – It was an overall quiet weekend across the Mid-Ohio Valley. It was quite cold Sunday morning as the day started in the lower 40s. Now, that is all being left behind as we warm up this week. In fact, we could be approaching the 90 degree mark by Wednesday. However, as we enjoy a quiet and warm start to the week, we will be keeping an eye on the hazy skies caused by the smoke from the Canadian wildfires.

Monday will still start a bit chilly as temperatures start off in the lower 40s. There will be a few patches of dense fog to begin the morning commute, but that should quickly clear as the sun comes up. Afterwards, we will be looking at mainly sunny skies. However, the clear skies will …
