THE AREA’S CERTIFIED MOST ACCURATE FORECAST> Precipitation will move into our region again tonight and especially on Wednesday as a low pressure system and cold front cross the region. Rain will be heavy at times on Wednesday, and temperatures will warm into the 40s across northern New York and lower 50s in southern Vermont. Snow melt and heavy rain will lead to threat for river and flash flooding, especially later Wednesday into Thursday. Colder conditions return by Thursday, with a lake effect snow band to become established off of Lake Ontario.
