Summer travel season is nearly here and a new report reveals some of the cheapest flights in Canada.
The annual Travel Check-In: Summer 2025 report from travel services aggregator, Kayak, is in with top trending destinations and flight deals.
This year, interest in travel to Africa and Central is soaring with jumps of 17 per cent and 12 per cent respectively, compared to last year, the report found.
“This year, Canadians are looking beyond the usual beach resorts by basking in the beauty of stunning landscapes and immersing themselves in new communities,” Kayak said.
Saving money on a trip may be important for many families this year. The good news is average airfare prices have declined compared to last year (down four per cent), the report found. Popular destinations like St. Maarten, Martinique and Cabo are down more than 20 per cent.
