Those driving in and around Montreal on the weekend should be aware of road closures due to construction. In addition, the REM light-rail line will alter its schedules in January.
Highway 40 / Charles-de Gaulle Bridge
- From Friday at 11.30 p.m. to Saturday at 6:30 a.m., Highway 40 will be closed between the Henri-Bourassa Boulevard exit (89) and the Route-344 / Saint-Charles Road access, including the Charles-De Gaulle Bridge.
- As a result, access from Marien Avenue and Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Tricentenaire and Henri Bourassa boulevards will be default closures starting at 9:30 p.m.
- From Saturday at 6:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., one of three eastbound lanes will be closed on the Charles-De Gaulle Bridge.
