The Christmas season is upon us and with that, many people will be enjoying some alcoholic beverages throughout the holidays, whether it’s their go-to products or trying something new.

INsauga.com has taken a look at the top-selling brands at the LCBO to see what it is that consumers like best.

The information is from the LCBO’s most recently available quarterly report, covering June 23 to Oct. 12.

It shows that 35 per cent of sales at the LCBO were for spirits, 28 per cent for wine, 23 per cent for beer and cider, and 14 per cent for ready-to-drink beverages.

Among the top-selling spirits by net sales were Smirnoff Vodka, Crown Royal and JP Wiser’s.

Wine-wise, Bread & Butter, Kim Crawford, and J.Lohr were among the most popular.

For beer and cider, Heineken, Busch and Molson Canadian were among the top-sellers.

And for ready-to-drink beverages, Cottage Springs, Twisted …
