The Bears visit the Senators for a weekend doubleheader, with some with milestones and records in reach.

BELLEVILLE, ON — The Hershey Bears are preparing for the first-ever two-game weekend set in Belleville, Ontario, looking to build on recent success against the Senators. The Bears enter the series with a strong 5-0-1-0 record at CAA Arena since the Senators’ relocation to the Quinte region in 2017-18.

Head coach Todd Nelson approaches the weekend with some uncertainty, noting potential player availability challenges. “Both guys will be questionable [Friday in Belleville],” Nelson said, referring to players Jake Massie and Mike Sgarbossa who were hurt in Wednesday’s game in Laval.

The Bears come into the series after a 3-2 overtime loss to the Rocket. Despite building an early 2-0 lead with power-play goals, including a marker by defenseman Chase Priskie, the team ultimately fell short in the contest.
