Police have charged a Brampton trucker after a crash involving two transport trucks and a vehicle fire on an Ontario highway.
The two-vehicle collision happened on Wednesday shortly after 3 p.m. on Highway 402 in Sarnia, the OPP says.
Two tractor-trailers collided in the westbound lanes of the highway and one of the truck burst into flames.
A driver and passenger of one of the trucks were rushed to hospital and suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash, police say.
Police closed the highway during the crash clean-up and now say a 26-year-old from Brampton was charged with one count of careless driving causing bodily harm.
