The RCMP in Nova Scotia is investigating a home invasion that happened in West Dover last week.
RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a home invasion on West Dover Road around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Police say they learned two men armed with knives forced their way into the home. Once inside, one of the two occupants was restrained while the second was instructed to open a safe, according to an RCMP news release.
Police say the suspects then fled the area.
The occupants, a 77-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman, did not suffer physical injuries.
One of the suspects is described as a man, six-foot-four with a stocky build. He was wearing a mask and was dressed in black.
