The Cornelius Leard House in the P.E.I. community of Lower Bedeque is up for sale. From 1897 to 1898, L.M. Montgomery boarded in the home while teaching in the area. It’s also where the author of ‘Anne of Green Gables’ had what Montgomery experts call a ‘steamy romance.’
