Homeowner interrupts break-in leading to search for masked men in Ontario: police [Video]

Police are searching for suspects after a homeowner allegedly caught two masked culprits breaking into their home in Caledon.

The break-in happened on Saturday around 4:15 p.m. when the OPP says officers from the Caledon detachment were called to a home near Cranston Drive.

Investigators say the homeowner was returning to the property and witnessed two masked men inside the residence.

Police say they believe the suspects forced their way into the home and fled the scene after being discovered by the homeowner, who called 911 to report the incident.

Police have not released any suspect descriptions but are asking anyone with information or who may have dash camera or surveillance footage from the area to contact investigators.
