Call it a definitive statement on the concept of elbows up. The 33rd edition of the Honda Celebration of Light will return to Vancouver this summer with a twist that highlights the idea of national pride. Forget doing battle against the international likes of China, Mexico, Italy, and…ummm…that country to the immediate south that is currently persona non grata this side of the border.
The 2025 Honda Celebration of Light has been announced as an all-Canadian pyrotechnic battle, with the Yukon lighting up the English Bay skies on July 19, Quebec taking over the barge on July 23, and Nova Scotia on deck for July 26.
Making a special appearance on July 19 and July 23 will be the Royal Canadian Airforce’s fabled Snowbirds.
