Bryan police arrested a Houston woman Sunday and charged her with using stolen credit cards to purchase Apple iPads and MacBook’s from three Brazos County Walmart stores.

Samone Alberta Jackson, 21, is being held in the Brazos County Jail under $80,000 in bonds. An alleged accomplice, Tiarah Cena Simon, 21, is still at large with a warrant for her arrest.

The two women are accused of using stolen information from 12 Sam’s Club Mastercards on Jan. 9 to make 14 transactions to purchase four MacBooks, nine iPads and a package of toilet paper at Walmart stores in Bryan and College Station, totaling over $5,800. That amount would be a state jail felony and punishable from 180 days to two years in prison.

Detectives were alerted by an officer from Walmart Global Investigations who was investigating several fraudulent purchases using stolen cards at Walmarts across Texas. The two women were reportedly …
