The province’s oyster industry has been dealing with lots of uncertainty since the detection last summer of a parasite that’s deadly to the mollusks. But now, a small step forward — the P.E.I. Shellfish Association plans to set up a nursery for MSX-resistant oyster seed. The association’s president, Bob MacLeod, tells Sheehan Desjardins of CBC News: Compass about the project.
