Election day in Canada is now a month away.

There are a number of ways to vote and with one method, you don’t have to go to a polling place at all.

Electors are able to receive a kit in the mail with everything they need to cast a ballot.

Elections Canada says that those who want vote by mail need to apply online or at any Elections Canada office across the country. Applications should be made as soon as possible.

The deadline to apply is 6 p.m. on April 22 — one week from election day.

“If you want to vote by mail, plan early,” Elections Canada advises.

“You must allow enough time for your special ballot voting kit to reach you and for you to return your marked ballot to Elections Canada by election day.”

Election day is Monday, April 28.
