PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – It was a wild week in the world of tariffs.

On Tuesday Trump’s tariffs on goods from Canada, Mexico, and China went into effect.

The very next day trump rolled back tariffs on the “big three” domestic automakers.

Then on Thursday he put a one month pause on Canadian and Mexican tariffs but left the Chinese tariffs in place.

All this uncertainty has caused consumers to take a second look at their finances and how these tariffs might potentially affect them. So I reached out to an economist and a banker for some advice.
