If you are tired of never-ending shovelling and freezing temperatures, there could be relief in the weather forecast for southern Ontario.
After three big snowstorms in the GTA, the temperature dropped with windchills feeling like -20 C this week.
But a big thaw is on the way, according to weather forecasters.
Temperatures will start to increase on the weekend with highs of around -3 C on Saturday and -2 C on Sunday in the GTA, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. There is still a chance of snow on both days.
Starting on Monday, temperatures are forecast to move above freezing with highs around 3 or 4 C in the GTA.
Tuesday could be even warmer with a high of 5 C in Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto areas. Durham could be slightly cooler at around 4 C.
It could be messy next week though. There is a mix of snow and rain forecast for every day.
