President-elect Trump says he spoke with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. In a statement on truth social he stated that President Pardo has agreed to ‘stop Migration through Mexico, and into the United States’. Reports suggest this was a fallout of threats this week to significantly tariff goods from coming into the U.S. from Mexico. Trump had vowed to impose 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada if both nations failed to do more to stop the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs into the US
