As India is gearing up for a magnificent 18th G20 Leaders’ Summit on September 9-10, All security agencies are on their toes to ensure a safe event and the security of G20 leaders. In that series, an Indigenously developed counter-drone system developed by DRDO has been deployed in National Capital. The DRDO-made anti-drone system will work round the clock to safeguard event from any possible drone threat. Apart from that, Highly-skilled Indian Army conducted Rendering Safe Procedure also known as anti-sabotage check mock drill in Delhi. The dog squad, with their handlers, performed mock drills on dummy explosives. The mock drill showcased the finest ability of security personnel to thwart any unprecedented eventuality. World leaders including US President Joe Biden and UK PM Rishi Sunak will arrive in New Delhi to attend the G20 Summit. The summit will be hosted at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. India assumed the G20 presidency on Dec 1 last year and about 200 meetings related to G20 were organised in 60 cities across the country.
