PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – Portland is filled with many first and only restaurants; Javelina is part of that tradition by being the first indigenous restaurant in Portland. FOX 12’s Ayo Elise stopped by the restaurant to learn how each dish reflects the culture of the chef and owner, Alexa Numkena-Anderson.

Javelina Indigenous dining is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Northeast Portland. However, they will be moving next month! Be sure to check their website for the update on that.
