DES MOINES, Iowa (Gray Media Iowa State Capitol Bureau) – Families, businesses, and farmers will all be watching their budgets as they follow President Donald Trump’s increased tariffs against other countries. Economists warn that his action will likely drive up prices.

Trump has primarily targeted Mexico, Canada, and China as he also tries to get them to help increase border security and prevent drugs from entering the United States. Other countries retaliating against Trump’s actions will increase prices on American exports, as well, which could reduce sales from goods made in the United States.
