An upcoming online forum will assist international students in adapting to Canada’s health-care system.

The session is part of Peel’s International Students Collaborative free virtual information session series for international students, designed to provide students with valuable information and resources.

Aimed at those who are now residing in Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon, the forum will be held virtually on June 5 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Registration information can be found here.

The topic for this session, “Navigating Health and Wellness as an International Student,” is designed to guide students to incorporate a healthy diet while helping them to adapt to a new health-care system, prioritize physical well-being and access essential resources.

“Moving to a new country for education is an exciting journey, but it also comes with unique health and wellness challenges,” according to information provided by program organizers.

Five guest presenters will be available to guide the session and answer questions.
