An investigation in Toksook Bay that began back in December ended with the arrest of a suspect for sexually abusing a minor.

According to Alaska State Troopers, on December 27, 2024, authorities received a report of sexual abuse involving a teenager in Toksook Bay.

The Alaska Bureau of Investigation’s Yukon Kuskokwim Child Abuse Investigation Unit took over the case and began investigating the allegations.

According to troopers, 21-year-old Patrick Quenton, a resident of Toksook Bay, provided marijuana to a juvenile and then sexually abused them.

Quenton was arrested on January 14, 2025, and taken to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center. He faces charges of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree.
