A 29-year-old man from Nampa has died due to a crash near Roberts, Idaho.

BOISE, Idaho — On Friday, Oct. 4, two vehicles crashed in Jefferson County, leaving one man dead. 

Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating a fatal crash that happened at the intersection of State Highway 33 and Interstate 15 in eastern Idaho. 

A 29-year-old man from Nampa was driving in a 2011 Honda Accord on State Highway 33, when the Honda struck the rear driver side of a tractor trailer. The tractor trailer was being driven by a 62-year-old man from Alberta, Canada. The tractor trailer driver was turning east out of the Sage Port of Entry near Roberts, Idaho, when it was struck by the Honda, ISP said. 

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. In an update from ISP on Oct. 6, it was announced the 29-year-old man from Nampa had succumb to his injuries and died at the hospital …
