Iran reported that Israeli airstrikes in the country killed four soldiers early Saturday but said the attack caused only ‘limited damage’ otherwise. Israel said its attack was in retaliation for the barrage of missiles Iran fired at the country earlier this month — itself a response to Israel’s killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon and Hamas chairman Ismail Haniyeh in Iran.
