Late May in the GTA is shaping up to be the chilliest it has been in over a decade.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the next few days are bringing in some unseasonable temperatures, even though summer is right around the corner.
ECCC numbers indicate that in regions like Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, and Durham Region, the average daily high will range from 13 °C to 10 C with showers throughout May 21 and May 22.
“It is true that it is weather colder than average, as the normal high for this time of year in the region is 20 C,” an ECCC representative told INsauga.com.
While frigid by late spring standards, the average nighttime low of 8 C to 9 C over these two days will have the public looking for their jackets.
