Mississauga and other parts of the Greater Toronto Area are in for pretty much the same weather story on Thursday — chilly, mainly cloudy skies — while areas south of Lake Ontario in the Niagara Region and west of there are bracing for heavy and blowing snow.
The mixed bag forecast comes courtesy of Environment and Climate Change Canada (formerly Environment Canada), which as of late Wednesday afternoon is calling for a few flurries, clouds and a daytime high temperature of -4 C on Thursday in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto and other parts of the GTA.
In other words, much the same as Wednesday’s conditions.
Also much like Wednesday, Thursday will bring a wind chill in the morning that will make it feel like -18 C. Wind chill temperatures of -10 C and -13 C are on tap for the afternoon and evening, respectively.
