It could feel as cold as -30 C in some parts of the province on Wednesday with snow squall warnings in effect for parts of southern Ontario.

Environment and Climate Change Canada says to expect frigid temperatures to start the day with a northwest wind blowing around 20 km/h and gusting to 40 in the morning in Mississauga, Toronto and much of the GTA.

The high in the morning will be around – 7 C but will feel more like -20 C with the wind chill, creeping up slightly in the afternoon to around -14 C in Mississauga.

Daytime conditions should be a mix of sun becoming cloudy in the evening with an overnight low of around -20 C with the wind chill
