It’s been five years since the opening of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (JPCHF), and since then, it has put forward over $85 million to support maternal and pediatric care across all of Saskatchewan.

The facility opened in September 2019 as the only dedicated maternal and children’s hospital in Saskatchewan. The achievement was only possible due to support from several donors and community members throughout the province along with Jim Pattison himself.

“When Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital opened five years ago it was the culmination of the efforts of many people, including the generous support of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation,” SHA CEO Andrew Will said. “Today, Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital continues to play a vital role in the health-care journey of Saskatchewan’s mothers and children, and we are thankful for the contributions of our staff, physicians and philanthropic partners at JPCHF for their dedication and service.”
