June 11 weather: High humidity and showers in southern Ontario [Video]

We could see periods of rain and a high that feels above 30 C in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says conditions are expected to start with mainly sunny skies with some cloud cover in the GTA.

Winds could be gusting upwards of 50 km/h in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.

The daytime high is expected to be around 28 C, but could feel more like 32 C with the humidex, the weather agency says.

There’s a 30 per cent chance of showers later in the afternoon, and again into the evening.

Wednesday night should see partly cloudy skies in Mississauga with 40 km/h winds gusting to up around 60 km/h before dying down around midnight.

The overnight low will be around 15 C.
