The six victims in the shooting were employees of the warehouse.
NEW ALBANY, Ohio — One person was killed and five others were wounded in a shooting at a warehouse in New Albany Tuesday night.
New Albany Police Chief Greg Jones said that all of the victims were employees of the KDC/One facility at 8825 Smiths Mill Rd. The suspect, 28-year-old Bruce Reginald Foster III, was located in Columbus and taken into custody approximately 12 hours after the deadly shooting.
The CEO of KDC/One, Nick Whitley, released a statement Wednesday afternoon.
“We are shocked and saddened by the tragic shooting that occurred on February 4 at our New Albany, Ohio facility. Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted and their families. The safety and well-being of our employees is our top priority.
