The six victims in the shooting were employees of the warehouse.

NEW ALBANY, Ohio — One person was killed and five others were wounded in a shooting at a warehouse in New Albany Tuesday night. 

New Albany Police Chief Greg Jones said that all of the victims were employees of the KDC/One facility at 8825 Smiths Mill Rd. The suspect, 28-year-old Bruce Reginald Foster III, was located in Columbus and taken into custody approximately 12 hours after the deadly shooting.

The CEO of KDC/One, Nick Whitley, released a statement Wednesday afternoon.

“We are shocked and saddened by the tragic shooting that occurred on February 4 at our New Albany, Ohio facility. Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted and their families. The safety and well-being of our employees is our top priority. We are actively assisting the New Albany Police Department in their ongoing investigation and are sincerely grateful for the swift action of our local authorities and …
